A jamming wave generator capable of conducting adjacent interference tests and co-channel interference tests for terrestrial digital broadcasting (ISDB-T). It can generate up to 8 jamming waves.
This device is a signal generator that simultaneously generates OFDM waves corresponding to adjacent 8 channels in the ISDB-T MODE 3 format. Each of the 8 output waves can be set for TV channel steps from 90 MHz to 770 MHz. Each output wave can be generated independently. The output level for each can be varied from -50 dBm to -10 dBm (in 1 dB steps).
It has a built-in synthesizer for external RF input signals, allowing for the combined output of analog and digital signal waves. By connecting the modulator outputs of our models 3529A/3532B/3511C to this external RF input signal, it is possible to measure the effects of adjacent waves.
The OFDM generation section outputs 8 waves processed to ensure that their peaks do not align at the same time, using an OFDM wave with a center frequency of 37.15 MHz. It satisfies the spectral mask of broadcasting standards and cyclically outputs signals with a guard ratio of 1/16 and 8 symbols.
This device is ideal for testing adjacent interference waves.
